WBSA Tournaments The Lake Erie Walleye Trail (LEWT)
The Western Basin Sportfishing Association holds tournaments as a main fundraiser for the club. The goal is to have a professionally run tournament series for Lake Erie that sparks interest for the weekend angler as well as for the veteran tournament anglers in the club. The
series has gotten more popular every year and in 2007 we averaged 34 teams
per event with one sold out at 40 teams.
This year
we expect to improve those numbers once again. It pays to fish the LEWT,
you'll never learn more about what it takes to put fish in the boat and
every team goes home with some kind of prize due to our very generous
