Hi everyone, I still have a long road ahead with no guarantee as to what the out come will be. I have at least 6 to 9 months of treatments to go thru. Along with other test. Thanks to all those concerned. By the way thanks for all the great postings for my reading pleasure it almost gives me some sort of feel for whats going on out there on the water. Wish I could be fishin! Chuck

I talked to Chuck on the phone today he has hit a bump in the road with his recovery from his surgery and cancer. Chuck is back in the hospital he was very up-beat when I talked to him but it looks like he is going to have another hurdle to get over. I am sure Chuck could use all of our thoughts and prayers he was so close to getting back on the water and now will have to wait alittle longer.

I talked to Ellen today and Chuck was moved to Stein Hospice from Firelands in Sandusky last Friday. It's just a matter of time now before he passes because nothing else can be done for his condition.

Chuck will be missed by many of his friends in the club (and in the local fishing community) and we will also miss his dedication to the Sandusky area fishing clinics and kids fishing derby's.

Chuck & Ellen, I count myself as fortunate to have met you both. You've been in my thoughts & prayers since I first learned of Chuck's condition. You will continue to be in my prayers and I thank you for your kind words over these last few years. Peace be with you.
