Was wondering when they start and who to contact to enter.I know it's on here sme where but can't seem to find it.

I'm not going to run them myself this year and have asked for a volunteer to do the weigh ins at each one. I may fish them but need a break from all the other stuff going on, plus I don't live a 1/2 mile away any longer which makes my logistics a lot less simple.

It's not hard and if someone is fishing anyway it really is kinda fun to do but you just have to quit a few minutes early to set things up. A tag team of 2 guys could do it well and all the club equipment will be available for use.

But when do they start? October? What time do they start & end? I've heard they check in @ Cranbery and that it is a 20 $ jackpot.
I could maybe help with it some. Probably can't make them all as I have a little one on the way Oct 27 @ noon.

We have a rotating volunteer group willing to handle weigh ins and are a go. Thanks go to Dick Chicoine, Bobby Johns and the Cline brothers Randy and Rob. A few logistics still need to be worked out but for sure Dens and Cranberry will be taking cash entries. There may be other sites collecting entries as well before we are done and the weigh in site will probably move to Vermilion. More details will be posted as things shake out.

Shootouts will start on Oct 7th and there will be 6 of them with possible extension if the weather holds up in mid November.

Fishing times are: Start keeping fish at 4PM and be at weigh in site by midnight. $20 per team of 1-4 people whether by boat or from rocks on shore. You can launch anywhere in Ohio waters and bring fish to the weigh in by vehicle. Club keeps nothing for it and is 100% payout to the winners. It is an open event too so membership in WBSA isn't necessary.

October 7th will be the starting date for WBSA's Saturday Night Walleye tourneys. Sign up's will be at Cranberry Creek Marina (419-433-3932), Den's Sportsmans Outpost (888-855-9032) and Rich's Hook, Line and Sinker (440-967-2750). $20 per team up to 4 people, 100% payback to the winning team basket of 5 fish by weight. Ties will be split between teams. This is one of few tournaments that bank fishemen have a chance at so bank fishermen are welcome to join in.

Dick (Alumacraftman) Chicoine will be the contact person for the club and will be rotating weigh in duties with Bobby Johns and Rob Cline. Dick's number is (419-656-8049)

Bring fish to Rich's H,L&S(Across from Vermilion city boat launch)by vehicle or boat at the Vermilion launch by 12 Midnite. You can fish anywhere in Ohio waters starting at 4 PM. This tourney series has lots of interest but little luck in weather the last 2 years. Hopefully this year will be better.
