The WBSA is a Social based Club for fishermen and women that fish in the Western and Central Basins of Lake Erie and it's tributaries. Membership is open to all fishing people no matter what their location. Our goal is to present information in a manner that will help sustain and improve fishing in one of 
the greatest inland sport fisheries in the world. Scientific information, fishing techniques, locations and presentations will be presented at our monthly meetings by expert and knowledgeable speakers and tournament anglers in our group. These anglers are very open with techniques and methods and will help any member that is trying to learn new  methods. All you have to do is ask (Well  maybe not the day before a
tournament)! We are the host of the Lake Erie Walleye Trail Team Walleye Circuit, the Gator classic and assist other groups with their tourneys and fundraisers and also hold or assist with Children's fish outings and equipment.

 Next meeting

January 31st we'll be at the Bass Pro in Rossford (Toledo) for 2 sessions. One starting at 10:30 AM and 1 at 1:30 PM.Travis Hartman of the ODNR Research lab in Sandusky will talk about Perch, walleye and smallmouth populations andother biological findings from their 2009 surveys and trawls including possible remifications on 2010 limits and TAC.s

Matt Davis and Dan gies will be there to talk about methods used to win the 2009 MWC championship and the 2010 MWC Team of the Year. Methods will include Spinners and jigging and Handlinings rivers like the Detroit and Illinois rivers. should be a good one.. Bring a guest!
